Inspiring Passion Through Plants

I started Plant Academy as a way to take plant-based food to the next level sharing skills I had learnt, as well as working with incredible chefs and visionaries who are truly trailblazing the food world.

Starting as an on-site academy in early 2019, Plant Academy has now welcomed over 200 students through the door from all around the world. In 2020 we were forced to go online, which brought many new possibilities to the table.

Plant Academy runs the signature Plant 123 course in a new way, with live intensive online classes as well as self-paced variants.

Creating a conscious vision through food.

The Food Studio opened in 2020 in Hackney in collaboration with Sara Kiyo Popowa and is now the home to both of our work and art.

From this space we teach, film, photograph and co-create a conscious vision through food.

Mind Food

 

Feed Your Mind

My passion for food began from a journey with my own mental health. On retraining as a chef, my spark was reignited by plant-based food which has led me to work with brands, teach internationally and be part of opening pioneering restaurants around the world.

For a long time, plant food was my way of communicating this passion with others and – after years of running restaurants, hosting pop-up events and even now starting my own Plant Academy – mind food and the links between (and power of) mental health and food ihas always been the drive behind what i do..

In February 2022 I launched my debut book Mind Food which is all about brining the conversation of mental health to the table. This book is filled with recipes that go far beyond being seasonal and talk about the power of biodiversity, adaptogens and tonic herbs that are often the missing link in changing our state of mind.

Mind food is plant based and gluten free as this way of eating is accessible to all, sharing the foundations of eating well to support our overall wellbeing.

Paris’ most exciting plant-based ‘Mesa’ and conscious lifestyle concept. I have been involved with HOY since before they opened as the Chef consultant. Involved in food concept development , menu design and training for the chefs. An ongoing collaboration and a true passion project.
